Micropitch for conveyor blocks of cheese

 

In order to solve a task where blocks of unpacked cheese comes off the cutter, the ScanBelt S.06-401 modular plastic conveyor belt was chosen for the job. A very small transfer was needed in order to secure the geometry of the product.

 

In this case, the product runs over a 6 mm nose bar from one belt to the next.  The small 6,25 mm pitch means that it is able go over a 6 mm stainless steel bar at the end and thus it is suitable for applications mostly for steel mesh belts and flat belts in the past.
